Scandinavian death metal is so awesome most of the time, it's beyond words really. Such rigor, precision, craftmanship otherwordly. Even though I had been checking some releases by Paganizer over the years I came back to The Tower of the Morbid here on BC by mere chance and decided to give it another go, mid tempo with harsh low toned vocals and great guitar work. One of the OSDM in Sweden that clearly kept the "American" (i.e. Obituary) style flame alive, to be very clear that this ain't the classic Swedish melodeath. FFO Grave, Dismember, Vomitory, Demonical, etc. While waiting for the newest album to drop, I am really enjoying the memorable riffs that PAGANIZER offered in this opus. It's OSDM that is fun to listen to! sashavonkarl74
Even as they reach celestial new heights, the Philadelphia metal band has never sounded more gloriously human. Bandcamp Album of the Day...Jun 14, 2024
